| Why you work hard?
Want to know why u r working so hard?
On the very first day of the world, God created the cow.
He said to the cow: "Ah Gu (cow), today I have created you! Your job is to go to the field with the farmer all day long.
You will provide the energy to pull things! You will also provide milk for people to drink! You are to work all day under the sun! In return, you will only eat grass.
For that, you will have a life span of 50 years."
Ah Gu objected. "What.. I work all day in the sun and I get only to eat grass! On top of that, I have to give my milk away! This is tough and you want me to live 50 years!
I'll take 20 and you can have the remaining 30 years back!" God agreed.
On the next day, God created the dog. He said to the dog. "Ah Kow (dog), I have created you for a purpose. You are to sit all day by the door of your master's house! Should anyone come in, you are to bark at them! In return, you will eat your master's leftovers. I'll give you a life span of 20 years."
Ah Kow objected. " What! I have to sit by the door all day and will need to bark at people, and what do I get...LEFTOVERS... This isn't right, I'll take 10 and you can have the remaining 10 years back!"
God agreed again.
On the third day, God created the monkey. He said to the monkey. "Lao Kao (monkey), your job is to entertain people. You will make them laugh, act stupid and make faces! You will also do somersaults and swing on trees to amaze them. In return, you will get to eat bananas and peanuts. For all that I will give you 20 years
Naturally the monkey objected. "This is ridiculous, I gotta make faces and make people laugh? Let's not even come to the part about the trees and somersaults.
Tell you what, I'll give 10 years of my life to thank you for my existence and I'll take 10. What do you think?"
God agreed again.
On the forth day, God created humans. God said to the man. "You are my best piece of work, for that, you will only need to sleep, eat, sleep, play, eat, sleep again and do nothing else. You will get to eat all the best things and play with the best toys.
All you need to do is enjoy all your life. For this kinda of life, I'll give you 20 years."
Just like the rest, the man objected. "What, all I need to do is relax and enjoy myself and I have only 20 years to live?
Tell you what, you've 30 years back from Ah Gu, 10 years from Ah Kow and another 10 from Lao Kao and you probably don't know what to do with all those lifes. Why not I take them all and I'll have 70 years to live?"
God being such good natured, agreed with a smile.....
AND THAT IS WHY.....
We eat, sleep, play and enjoy for the first 20 years of our lives when we are growing up.
Work like a cow for the next 30 to raise our family. Sit outside the door and bark at people for the next 10 when we are retired.
And finally, we make faces and perform monkey tricks to entertain our grandchildren for the final 10 years.
| Last Saturday I went to the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO). The dress code was evening wear... Ni ni wore a pink Cheongsam. It was quite ok but somehow i couldn't stop myself from teasing her that she looked like one of those waitress at Overseas Restaurant serving tea to customers. It was a great evening, my sister was there with me. Chow Chow, Huilin, Chia Huan and Jackie were there too. The hall was beautiful but we were not allowed to take any photos.. :)
The songs were great... especially the Mozart's concerto. Haydn's "The Clock" was also impressive. The last song the pianist played solo for the encore part was my favourite. I wonder what the title of that song was. The effect that resulted from the combination of all the instruments were simply beautiful! It was a good experience to see them play altogether. I'm sure to visit that place again in future but maybe with my dad :p
| hehe... love this song. It's the Disney theme song. Good melody and nice lyrics
When You Wish Upon A Star
When you wish upon a star Makes no difference who you are Anything your heart desires Will come to you
If your heart is in your dream No request is too extreme When you wish upon a star As dreamers do
Fate is kind She brings to those who love The sweet fulfillment of Their secret longing
Like a bolt out of the blue Fate steps in and sees you through When you wish upon a star Your dreams come true

| Tried this yesterday... it was easy, and fast! 3 out of 5 stars for a simple dish like this:
Steamed Cheese "Burger"
Ingredients: (Serves 1)
- Burger - 1-2 pieces (Dinding's Chicken Burger recommended, Ramlee's Burger is ok, try Ayamas Breaded 'Quick' Chicken Burger at your own risk)
- Cheddar Cheese - 1 slice
Steps:
1. Steam burger for 15 minutes (approx.)
2. Apply cheese on the cooked burger, cover to steam for 5 minutes.
3. Serve hot.
My personal advice:
1. This recipe is not recommended for those who can't stand instant foods.
2. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables! (this dish can be quite oily)

My worst nightmare came true again today. Once is enough…twice is simply inconceivable. Haih! *disbelief* Everyone else in the room had the same reaction as mine when we heard that we’ll be meeting him again this week, all of us were like….‘HAR?’. Eng Chuan and Geeshath asked, “Why….again?”, Mahes said, “I want to have lunch..”, Reika said, “Li Lian…~ help me…”. This time around, most of the time most of them took the safest route, kept their mouth shut and looked down. Occasionally they would knod their heads and mumble “yes”. I considered myself “bo kiasee”(dare to die), I was facing him straight, and I didn’t say ‘yes’ to the questions that I want to say no. I even shook my head. Yoon Tong was giving me the “you-want-to-die-is-it?” look, trying his best to convince me to knod my head and say yes even if I don’t agree with whatever theory we’re asked. I was simply not in the mood to say ‘yes, yes, yes, true, true, true…”. Of course there’s a price to pay when u don’t agree with him. I got extra, bonus blasting dose…haih!
It was a good lesson to train my patience though… maybe next time I should take the safer route if I’m tired… Or maybe I should hope that Vista C1 lifts malfunction everyday… ;)
